Ice cream can be combined with many kitchen store-cupboard items to make a dessert for any occasion. Fruit, chocolate, broken biscuit or meringues can all be used with ice cream for an instant dessert.

Serving Suggestions

• Remove the ice cream from the freezer 5-10 minutes before serving to soften and improve flavour.
• Warm the knife or ice cream scoop under a hot tap to give a perfectly smooth scoop.

Milkshakes

Blend a couple of scoops of your favourite ice cream flavour with some milk in a blender to make an instant milkshake.

Smoothies

Blend a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream with fruit. Banana & Strawberry or Peach & Raspberry are delicious combinations but any fruits can be used.

Drinks

Iced Coffee is a great summer cooler; it can be made by blending vanilla ice cream with a cup of strong black coffee which has been allowed to cool, sprinkle some chocolate flakes on top for extra indulgence.
